Present: John Slaby, Chairman, Roy Boushon and Mike Galloway, Town Supervisors, and Jamie Soberg, Clerk/Treasurer.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Slaby at 7 pm.
Checks numbered 424-425, 18138 – 18164 were signed by the board.
Recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Clerk read the minutes from the Board Meeting held in August. Motion by Galloway/Boushon to receive and place on file as amended. Carried. Slaby clarified that if someone wants the town to plow their driveway it needs to be all the time or not at all because it can be hard on the town equipment.
Soberg read the Treasurers report for the month of August. Motion by Boushon/Galloway to receive and place on file as presented. Carried.
Slaby shared that having our buildings sprayed for bugs has been beneficial and will be done again this year.
Soberg requested that we do not collect property taxes in person this year due to Covid as locations and things are uncertain for collection. Motion by Galloway to not collect property taxes in person this year. Seconded by Boushon.
Public Comment – Dean Mackie inquired about North Fork Road. Slaby commented that a grant request has been sent to the Flambeau River State Forest to gravel the road and we will know more next July when the state budget is done. Brian Stancer asked about who to contact about barking dogs.
Rob Grisby commented that recent complaints made by Weik have been false. He met with Boushon and Joe Baratka and Joe said all work looked good around Price Lake Road area and road width at culvert where it was said to be not passable is 21-1/2 feet wide. There was a small washout that has been fixed.
Motion by Galloway/Boushon to adjourn. Carried.
