- Present: John Slaby, Chairman, Roy Boushon and Mike Galloway, Town Supervisors, and Jamie Soberg, Clerk/Treasurer.
- The meeting was called to order by Chairman Slaby at 7 pm.
- Checks numbered 409, 17466 – 17501 were signed by the board.
- Recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
- After some discussion, motion by Sheryl Slaby/Rob Grigsby to approve levy as proposed $134,928.00. Carried.
- Slaby opened the remainder of the Town Board Meeting.
- Motion by Boushon/Galloway to adopt 2020 Budget as proposed. Levy of $134,928.00. Total revenues and expenses total $345,330.00 each and road maintenance expense $161,510.00. Carried.
- Janaks commented on the delays of the Price Lake Road Project. They mentioned it has been a wet season causing a setback in getting jobs completed. They are making progress and things seem to be going well with the ground hardening up. Janaks will continue to work until Friday November 22 weather permitting and plan to get out in the spring as soon as they can. Slaby stated that Chris Bender confirmed that the funds for this project will not run out at the end of the year, but not certain how long it will go so we should strive to get it done as soon as possible.
- Clerk read the minutes from the Board Meeting held in October. Motion by Galloway/Boushon to receive and place on file as read. Carried.
- Soberg read the Treasurers report for the month of October. Motion by Boushon/Galloway to receive and place on file as presented. Carried.
- After discussing concerns with Fifield and Lugerville Grade Road, the board feels it is not in the best interest of the town to take over these roads from the county. Motion by Galloway/Boushon to turn down the offer by the county to take over Fifield and Lugerville Grade Road. Carried.
- Slaby gave a briefing on the Fire Ad Hoc meeting and that the budget has been set.
- Paul Bodenburg shared an update on the Lugerville School Renovation. They replaced the beams in the main room and put in new concrete footings last year. Future plans are to update bathrooms for handicaps and remodel the kitchen area. They are also looking to get a new well as the water has not been drinkable for years. They will be doing their pie auction and other fundraisers to help fund these improvements. There was also question about the school being an option for the new town hall.
