Present: John Slaby, Chairman, Roy Boushon & Mike Galloway, Town Supervisors, and Jamie Soberg, Clerk/Treasurer.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Slaby at 7 pm.
Checks numbered 466-469, 18708– 18735 were signed by the board.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Clerk read the minutes from the Board Meeting held in February. Motion by Galloway/Boushon to receive and place on file as read with correction. Carried.
Soberg read the Treasurers report for the month of February. Motion by Boushon/Galloway to receive and place on file as presented. Carried.
The board of review meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the town hall.
Therese and Maureen Trojak shared an update on what the School Committee has done for improvements on the school and the plans for the next year. There was discussion about the leaking roof. A motion was made by Galloway to repair the school roof per the bid Rob Grigsby was given for the EPDM roof with an estimated cost of $12,600. Seconded by Slaby. Motion carried. Rob to contact company for scheduling.
The chloride project was discussed regarding the closure of the project with the DNR. Mi-Tech informed us that there will be additional costs above the original cost estimate and contract. They are looking for approval and signature for an additional $6700 to complete the closure with the DNR and abandonment of wells. Soberg to contact Mi-Tech for additional information before accepting.
Public Comment – Chris Boushon commented that the board member information on the town website needs to be updated. She also questioned why the No Parking Ordinance on Price Lake Road was not on file at the Sheriff’s Office. Soberg will check to see if this is required as she was not aware. Also, Chris feels the incident on Price Lake Road should not have been discussed publicly.
Motion by Galloway/Boushon to adjourn. Carried.
