Slaby reported on the Fire Ad Hoc meeting. With 75 calls in 2021, about a quarter of them were for lift assists which at this point are not charged services so the department is assessing this as the number of calls in this area increase.

After attending the ambulance meeting, Slaby shared a couple things. The Phillips Ambulance is now billing the Prentice department $6800 when they assist calls for Prentice. The new ambulance should be arriving January 2023. Two stair assist beds were purchased for $15,000 with donations and savings. Prentice is considering selling their extra ambulance so Phillips wants to talk with them about sharing the maintenance of it so that its available for both units. Three people recently took the EMT class.

There was discussion on right-of-ways. A certified letter will be sent to the property owner on Crane Chase Road regarding the posts that were placed in the right-of-way by the owner with request to remove them. Popple Hill Road will be addressed at a later time.
