The meeting was called to order by Chairman Slaby at 7 pm.

Checks numbered 437-438, 18366 – 18399 were signed by the board.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Clerk read the minutes from the Board Meeting held in March. Motion by Galloway/Boushon to receive and place on file as read. Carried.

Soberg read the Treasurers report for the month of March. Motion by Boushon/Galloway to receive and place on file as presented. Carried.

Slaby shared that the Flambeau State Forest has approved the Price Lake Road Grant for $155,000 with a 90/10 split in that the state would provide $139,500 and the town’s portion would be $15,500. There is no word yet on the grant for graveling North Fork Road. A motion was made by Galloway to sign the resolution of commitment for the Price Lake Road renovation. Seconded by Boushon. Carried.

Slaby noted that he received a call about the condition of River Road and gravel will be needed when frost is out. At the intersection of Crane Chase Road and Maple Road, ditching along the field and adding a culvert will help with the water issue. The culvert at the intersection of River, Crane Chase, and South Fork Road is in need of replacement and is scheduled for Tuesday April 13 so residents will be contacted that the road will be closed for a few hours to complete the work needed.

Galloway made a motion to spend $800 or less on a laptop and printer for the town garage. Seconded by Boushon. Carried. Matt Puhl has given recommendations and will set up the laptop once purchased.

Slaby noticed several municipalities that are using packers on their graders and believes it would be beneficial for our gravel roads. He shared quotes for a packer from McCoy and RDO Equipment. A motion was made by Galloway to take the proposal from RDO Equipment and purchase the Handy Hitch Packer for $28,500. Seconded by Boushon. Carried.

Public Comment – Cathy Mueller asked if the township has a policy for unattended possessions in someone’s yard, for example campers, cars, and miscellaneous garbage, in which the town does not.

Motion by Galloway/Boushon to adjourn. Carried.

Meeting adjourned at 8:17 pm.

Respectfully submitted by: Jamie Soberg
